Pointless Streak ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

The App collects the following data:

• Anonymous User ID: A randomly generated identifier (UUID) stored on your device. This ID is not linked to your real identity.
• Username: An optional display name you choose (max 20 characters). You may leave it blank ("Anonymous").
• Streak Data: Current streak count, longest streak, badges earned, revives used, and alive/dead status.
• Purchase History: In-app purchase transactions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not store payment details, credit card numbers, or billing information.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Email addresses
• Phone numbers
• Location data
• Contacts or photos
• Advertising identifiers
• Device fingerprints or tracking data
• Health or biometric data

3. How We Use Your Data

• Leaderboard: Your anonymous user ID, username, and streak data are sent to our server to display a public leaderboard. This data is visible to all App users.
• Notifications: Local notifications are scheduled entirely on your device to remind you to check in. No data is sent to any server for notifications.
• App Functionality: Streak data is stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences to maintain your progress between sessions.

4. Data Storage and Processing

• Local storage: Streak data is stored on your device.
• Server storage: Leaderboard data is stored on Cloudflare D1 (a serverless database). Cloudflare's infrastructure is located globally. Data may be processed in any Cloudflare data center.

5. Third-Party Services

• Apple App Store: Handles in-app purchases and payment processing via StoreKit. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare: Hosts the leaderboard API. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all data associated with your anonymous user ID.
• Deletion: Use the "Reset Everything" button in the App to delete all local data. To request deletion of your leaderboard data from our server, contact us at the address below.
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: You may stop using the leaderboard feature at any time. Leaderboard sync only occurs when you are connected to the internet.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us for removal.

8. Data Retention

Leaderboard data is retained as long as you use the App. If you reset your account or request deletion, server data will be removed within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date.
